Wedding Cake Toppers

Historically, there have always been many options for the wedding cake, but not so many for toppers. Just like standard bride-in-white and groom-in-tux. However, brides and grooms no longer have to settle for a generic cake topper statuette.

One choice: Monogram toppers, which are especially fashionable now. Another choice gaining in popularity are figurines of characters from pop culture (Disney characters, cartoons, Precious Moments, etc.). If you want to go with a more traditional feel, but avoid the bride-and-groom statue, consider including wedding doves, hearts, or castles. Many couples, though, choose to keep it simple with fresh flowers.

Finally, some couples choose to use the cake topper to reflect their cultural background. For instance, they might use a Celtic Claddaugh or a Chinese character.

And finally, one option is to decorate your cake with a reminder of a favorite pastime. Something pertaining to golf for golfing couples, GI Joe and Barbie for collectors, and so forth.

And of course, for one that tops them all, go for a topper that’s custom-made to look like the couple themselves! As you can see, the choices are so varies, there’s no need to be bored with your choice of cake toppers.
