Grand Marnier Cake
When billionaire real estate tycoon Donald Trump married Melania Knauss, the great wedding was celebrated with a Grand Marnier cake designed by pastry chef Cedric Barbaret. As the couple opted for non-traditional cake topper, this special cake was topped with 3000 white-icing roses. The cake was 5 foot high weighing 50 pound and had 7 layers with butter cream filling.
Carrot Wedding Cake
It was a six-layered carrot shaped cake used as the wedding cake of James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan when he got married to Keely Shaye Smith. The designer was Mich Turner of London’s Little Venice Cake Company who created some famous wedding cakes including one for Madonna. This particular fashion was inspired by the cake used at the marriage of John Kennedy with Jacqueline Kennedy. A cascade of orange blossoms, white roses and stephanotis formed the main part of the cake.
Red Velvet Cake
This was the traditional chocolate cake used in the wedding of singer Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey. The hexagonal layered cake designed with Victorian Scroll was made by Sam Godfrey of Perfect Endings, San Francisco.
Vanilla Cake
When Actress Sarah Michelle Geller got married to Freddie Prinze Junior in Mexico, a local baker made a four-layered vanilla cake which was Sarah’s favorite flavor. It was all vanilla and decorated with fresh pink and red roses.
Viking Cake
All the seven layers of the cake at the wedding of Norway’s Crown Prince Haakon were decorated with Viking ships. The cake was nearly 10 foot in height and weighed 140 kg.
